Welcome to Sew Unique!
I have loved sewing since making my first skirt at five years old. Out of necessity, I have designed and created patterns and altered garments to fit those who are not the "standard" size. Teaching sewing classes to children of all ages and sewing hundreds of blankets for dialysis patients kept me busy in my teens. I have a bachelor's degree and spent many hours in college working in the costume department making and altering costumes of all kinds. I am a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and enjoyed learning to make cultural clothing for which there is no "pattern." My passion is sewing and after college graduation I started Sew Unique in Bryan County, Oklahoma. Let me help you with your sewing and alteration needs.

In November of 2024, I discovered I had nephrotic syndrome and spent over a week in the hospital. I am somewhat recovered now, but I still have to adjust my medications and go to the doctor often. Because I am still recovering and unable to work full-time, I ask that you please be patient. I will get back to full time as soon as possible.
